John Beale is a Halifax based actor, teacher and director. Theatre credits include work at Neptune, Parrsboro Ship’s Company, Shakespeare By The Sea, Stephenville Festival, Tarragon, Lunasea,
Two Planks and a Passion, Equity Showcase in Toronto, Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts and his self-produced work at The Old Red Schoolhouse Theatre in Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia.  Recent theatre credits include Peggy and Manuel in The Peggy Show

Wendell in Home, Swinburne in Brightest Red to Blue, Reverend John Hale in The Crucible for which he received a Merritt Award for Best Supporting Actor and most recently Nurk in Daniel MacIvor's world priemier of Bingo.

JOHN has been acting, teaching and creating for the past 20 years. His workshops inspire engaging presence by focusing on the pleasure to play and discovering the joy of failure. Beale is a graduate of the Philippe Gaulier International Theatre School and also trained, performed and taught extensively with Shakespeare & Company in Massachusetts.
